People of China are reaching out to the Communist Party to get married, know why
The Communist Party of China (CCP) is now getting the youth
married and matched. Such activities at the local level have increased greatly
in recent years. Singles in search of love participate in CCP's introduction
program. Reports suggest that in many cases young boys are buying brides for
marriage by paying money. This report has been given by the news agency AFP.
Zhang Shoge is a young man of about 30 years old. He has
been trying to get married for the last several months and is looking for a
bride for himself but tired of giving up, he has turned to CCP. Reports suggest
that birth rates and marriage rates are declining in China. And so the youth
wing of the CCP and local officials are increasingly playing the role of
matchmakers.
The marriage rate in China has declined. According to
China's National Bureau of Statistics, only 8.14 million couples registered for
marriage in 2020, compared to 13.47 million in 2013.
The birth rate in China fell to 7.52 per 1000 people last
year. This is the lowest since the founding of Communist China in 1949.
Participants in such an event say that they feel more secure
than attending a party event. People say that there are many sites of
matchmaking but after filling the details there are disturbing calls.
